Tailhook

In August Milskil returned to Tailhook – the premier gathering for USN aviators in Reno, Nevada. Due to CV-19, we hadn’t been able to attend for some time. But we made up for it at Hook ’24!

Milskil had 4 highly experienced operators on-hand to discuss potential career options in Australia with conference delegates. With so many Rhino/Growler aircrew, F35 pilots and NFO’s present, new mates were made, old mates found and plenty of insights shared between experienced peers. Most importantly, our Milskil team was able to share their passion for living and working in Australia and just some of the benefits of working with Milskil. For many of our peers, they had not yet heard about how much fun they could have here in Australia, while they continue to hone their professional skills to help build warfighters of the future!

While it was hard work, the team did get a little time to relax as well, while they grabbed a drink at the final night Milskil Bar!

Team Workforce Development

We held our Workforce Development offsites with each of our teams. This involved taking each team out of their workplace for 2 full days together to focus on their team and the way they work best together. We focussed on delivering best practice in a High-Performance Environment, by exploring commonalties between high performance sporting teams and their own Milskil team. We held team activities and competitive events, with plenty of time to relax and have a chat together. It was a huge amount of fun for each of us, plus we connected and learned a lot along the way!
